Our Founders
Rachel Xu
Co-Founder & Director
My name is Rachel Xu, and I’m one of the co-founders of Sparks Youth Committee. I am a Grade 11 student at Stratford Hall. I love to make connections with different people. For hobbies, I started practicing Classical Chinese dance when I was four. I’m also really interested in music and arts. Thank you for joining Sparks and I really looking forward to working with everyone here to better support our community
Jonathan Han
My name is Jonathan Han, and I’m a Grade 10 student at Collingwood School. I’m one of the Co-founder of Sparks.
I enjoy socializing and have made many friends. I’m also a hockey player and have been playing hockey for 13 years. I’m looking forward to meeting like-minded friends in the Sparks Youth Committee and working together to serve the community while having fun!
Alice Xin
My name is Alice Xin, and I am a grade 9 student at Collingwood School, and I’m one of the co-founders of Sparks Youth Committee. I really enjoy hanging out with my friends and my sister. Some of my hobbies include watching true crime documentaries and tv shows, specifically Brooklyn 99 and skating (though I’m horrendous at it). I am so thrilled to meet all of you in the Sparks Youth Committee and I’m sure that we will all get along amazingly and have fun together while giving back to our community.
Ethan Li
My name is Ethan Li and I’m a student at Mulgrave school attending the ninth grade. I enjoy playing basketball and staying active in general. When I’m not playing, I love to give back to the community through volunteering. I’m excited to be a co-founder in the Sparks Committee and I look forward to making a positive change in our community with you all.
